About Departures
Departures is a Framer portfolio template for independent product and brand designers, styled like an airport departures board. Projects run on CMS with a page for each one, and the site comes in light and dark mode. The designer, clients and quotes are fictional demo content.
White and paper grey with a near-black split-flap board and an orange status accent, plus a dark mode switch in the navigation. The homepage opens with a departures board that drops in on its wires and flips letter by letter to spell your name, with your current and next season below it. Then client logos, your projects as departure rows with year, discipline and status, a flight log of split-flap counters with a globe of client cities and the years you have flown, the itinerary of a twelve-week season, three fares printed like tickets, passenger notes on luggage tags, an FAQ and a boarding-pass enquiry form. Work lists every project with filters for Brand, Web and Product, and each project page has the brief, what you did, the outcome, a gallery, a client note and the next project. About tells your story in three chapters, with a flight history of past roles and an off-duty photo row. Book a seat is the boarding-pass form with a stub you tear off to send. Terms, Privacy and a custom 404 complete the site. A /design-system skill helps Framer’s AI agent work with the template’s typography, colors, components, layouts and CMS. Connect your form delivery after duplicating the project.
Departures turns a portfolio into an airport: your name flips onto a departures board, projects land as flights, stats count up on split-flap tiles, fares look like tickets and the enquiry form is a boarding pass you tear to send.
